Teamwork makes the dream work

Darcy's body is overcome with bright purple light and little white sparks, her eyes closed and her hair flowing upwards, weightless. Akiva holds her hand still, watching her in awe. DARCY: "... There's something here." She reaches one of her hands out as if to grab something, and Akiva joins her to help, reaching her own free hand out as well. Green light travels up Akiva's arm, alighting her veins. Less powerful than Darcy, but enough to help begin opening the pathway.
